Myself with Peta
Hello everyone , welcome to the first post on our Sebastian and Sienna wall.
I will be the one posting for our lovely blog and my name is Vanessa. I have a handsome little man in my life and his name is Sebastian, 8 years old. That's my family unit at this present time, myself and Seb.
I love cups of tea and nanna biscuits, my heatbag, every Elvis Presley movie ever made - hope to visit Graceland one day , listening to 80's music (always makes everything better), Molly Ringwald - what an icon and my fascination with red hair. Pretty in Pink is by far one of my favourite movies, actually I may as well say John Hughes movies too. I love endlessly searching through thrift shops, I luv Jesus, being able to take Sebby to school and pick him up, sewing, drawing when I have the chance, collecting stuff (I will eventually share all the things I collect, which could further be called hoarding), helping Seb learn his Fijian culture – Bula everyone, playing board games - I'm an indoors kind of girl and must say I am trying to be more outdoorsy for the sake of Seb and vitamin D, hugs with Seb and of course my family and friends with their endless support (you know who you are).
The other half of the team is my younger sister Peta. She currently has a full time job in a completely different area and takes care of the admin side of stuff, which I must say is very time consuming and not my forte. She is married to her high school sweetheart with two girls Sienna and Evangeline, I look after the girls two days a week.
Peta and I have always been quite different. I was the hairdresser with crazy hair and piercings (don't ask) and Peta well never had crazy hair (except that time I tried to perm it) and never had piercings other than in her ears. As we have reached our 30's we have the children in common, our fashion choices are becoming similar and we both have normal hair.
I hope to in the coming weeks to share about all the things that inspire and help create "Sebastian and Sienna".
Enjoy
Vanessa
Hi Vanessa,
ReplyDeleteI just saw your FB status mentioning your first blog post and thought I'd stop by and leave you a little comment.
Oh, you are definitely a kindred spirit with the John Hughes movies (and the crazy hair and piercings - I often wonder what on earth I was thinking back in the day!!).
I've signed in through my Google account but my other blog is Mini Must Have. I'm looking forward to featuring some Sebastian and Sienna soon!!!!
Kellie :)
